Recommendedthis is a great place for a lunch date. the food is awesome and reasonably priced. today, however, it seemed to take a long time to receive our food. I know they were busy but previous visits weren't this way.
The service is great. I must say the last 2 pieces of German chocolate cake was dry. Normally it is fantastic. carrot cake is great and the pumpkin bar is to die for.
We came with 6 of us around 2 and they were out of clam chowder. Unfortunately most of us wanted clam chowder. So we all had to change our order. Then we wanted to order half soup/sandwich with grilled cheese and it was impossible because of the bread. I said I would take the other bread and it was such a hassle for them to figure out how they would ring it up. I mean it's not rocket science!!! Then they brought the wrong sandwich. I mean, come on. I absolutely love the food at Dawn's. Even better, she has the most amazing people working with her. I try to eat different things all the time but I have so many favorites that I often fall back on the same things. Her brownies are the best, and my husband is absolutely in love with her fruit cobblers. If you have a taste for upgraded childhood favorites, the grown-up grilled cheese is fantastic.
Great place for food made from scratch, environment, and customer service. I had the roasted tomato soup, grown up grilled cheese panini, and chocolate pudding. Very good!
My favorite restaurant in Centralia, hands down! The staff is always wonderful, the food is always spectacular. The daily tomato soup is a must have, and every dessert never disappoints! Shout out to the owner and staff who never fail to serve perfection �
