Today I went to see Doctor Bankston she was super knowledgeable patient and answer all my questions . Also her nurse Alma was very kind a guided me well with all the steps before my paps and Doctor Bankston made me feel calm explaining me all the coming testing I have to get done , I am writing the review because there aren’t so many OBGY that takes my insurance from the market place and if you are looking someone to trust I share my testimony to come and see it yourself !
I was debating for a while whether to post this or not but figured it might help some folks in making decisions. Dawn Bankstone is efficient and capable I have no doubt but her nurse Alma has no idea what she is doing. I dont know why she doesn't fire her. As for Dr Bankstone, she hardly ever spoke two extra words to me, very cold and reticent, a complete Karen. I dont know if she was uncomfortable with my brown skin or hijab but she hardly ever gave me more than 10 min of her time for each and every visit. She tried to get ... read more
This office has ZERO bedside manner. They just want to get you in and out. I left feeling awful. The front desk staff was nice, but the medical staff was not welcoming at all. I made it clear that I was not interested in birth control, and the doctor kept pushing to the point of ordering a prescription for me that I did not confirm wanting. When the doctor asked for my pharmacy, I couldn’t remember the exact cross streets. Front staff very friendly. The older Hispanic nurse for Bankston refused to tell me if the extra things and tests she offered me was covered by my insurance or not. Bankston rushed to get me out, would not listen to me, said she saw no issue with my hemroids to where they’d be painful even though I told her they were and she didn’t even do a exam on me in that area. She would not talk about my anxiety and referred me to a psychiatrist. She stated that all my problems I came for would be for a psychiatrist. She would not talk... read more
