Very friendly doctor and office staff. Worked well with insurances. Totally thorough in his testing and explanations of what he's looking for and why. Wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him.
Although a cancer diagnosis is hard to accept, the course of treatment and personal care one receives makes the road to recovery very comforting. Dr. Vafai's genuine care for his patients resonates throughout his practice, from receptionists to medical staff. Dale, Lynn, and many others provide top-shelf care and support through the treatment process. Thank you to team Vafai.
I have had my first visit with him and very impressed, he asked and answered questions and seemed to really care about the patient. He showed me that he was interested in helping me get over my health problems,
he treated my father for over 15yrs him and his staff are the greatest thank you Dr Vafai for not only being a great doctor but a good friend to my father and family thank you romona and lynn
No way to reach staff. Visits are rushed and incorrect test results given causing extreme emotional distress. All of which makes patient not trust judgement. Does not have clinical experience in thoracic oncology
Dr Vafai is very thorough and reassuring and provides education with his responses to my many questions. I feel respected and heard. My primary family has several members who have/or had cancers,. Heart issues and cancers are the leading cause of death in my family. The average age of death is 87. Dr. Vafai is excellent and caring. His staff is friendly and helpful. They make the day better.
Dr Vafai is a wonderful, outstanding physician. I have been with him through two different cancers, and for over 18 years. He is very knowledgeable and will take his time in explaining his answers for any questions you might have. I was diagnosed with lung cancer 9 years ago, and I am still around! I have gone through radiation, chemo, and three surgeries with him. I feel very fortunate being in his care.
Nothing less than Fantastic for over 13 years. He gives his time as though you are the only person in his care. He is compassionate, understanding and helpful in all areas of the disease. I feel fortunate to be in his care . The staff in the Infusion room is loving, caring and attentive to the needs of everyone.
In our experience Dr. Vafai was annoyed by questions asked on the plan of treatment, follow-up or tests. He preferred the patriarchal method in which he dictated and we mindlessly complied. He resented our phone calls and disrespected our time & impacted it by making us attend some essentially unnecessary appointments. He has the most incompetent receptionist/appointment maker I've ever encountered and his office manager is combative &maliciously uncooperative.
