I've been getting dialysis at Davita Auburn CA for 5 years. The staff is the absolute best, I know this because I've been on dialysis for 13.5 years & have been dialized at several different clinics of various sizes. Auburn davita isn't the smallest of them, but it is one of the smaller clinics I've been to. That Being said, The size factor does allows them to spend more time with each patient personally. The nurses (not the techs) are absolutely horrible. They have no bedside manner and will jab a needle in you without giving a thought about the patient. It hurts to get those large needles in place if not done carefully. The nurses will just tell you to not be a baby and to just tolerate it. Is that anyway to talk to older citizens? The techs are gentle and are so caring. We don't need the elderly treated with such disrespect AND inflicting undo pain almost on purpose.
