Kept waiting due to them not having proper communications with other departments. Everything they told me about post surgery was completely opposite. maybe I'm being impatient but this experience has been horrible.
Went to the Er today at Davis and the staff was very professional. I’m a very nervous person when it comes to me going to the dr much less the Er but today was very easy and felt right at home. They took very good care of me and I strongly recommend this hospital for the fast service and the very friendly staff. Thanks for all y’all did today. Just delivered my 2nd child here. The staff on the birthplace were 2nd to none!! They were thorough, kind, compassionate, and competent! I had a post delivery complication and along with my Dr I received the best care from the staff in a sticky situation!! Michelle, Jackie and the many other RN’s were there to ease all my concerns!! The Floor Director even stepped in to help!! That is a true sign of good leadership when those who lead pitch in to help!! I went to davis for vomitting, severe shoulder and chest pain and they didn't do anything about it. No blood work, no chest Xray, only a urinalysis (which I'm positive they didn't test) then discharged me. I decided to go to Iredell later on the same day where the were very thorough. Found out I had an ectopic pregnancy that was causing all of my symptoms! Dont go to Davis unless you have a death wish.
Had surgery there. Which everything was good. I didn't care for the anesthesiologist. He was way beyond an as*hole. If I wanted a 20 minute lecture on smoking I'd ask. He was very rude. And on another surgery I had. The nurses were too preoccupied with phones and talking to each other. They didn't once check my blood sugar. I am diabetic. That hospital is failing in alot of places.
