Dr. Davis should speak to his patients in terms that are understandable to those of us who are not neurosurgeons. He's very proud of his use of medical terms, maybe he's unable to converse any other way, I have no idea. I waited over 3 months in considerable pain for a consultation and spent maybe a total of 10 minutes with him. To show that core muscle strength is vital, he pounded on his abdominal muscles! Inappropriate and rather creepy, not professional in any way. Would never return.
Dr. Davis is an excellent neurosurgeon with very good "bedside manners". My results were better than anticipated and with much less rehab time and recovery. He performed a surgery that 2 other back specialist never offered to do or were not competent to do it. He was patient and explained everything I needed to know.
I would never, ever go here... The staff was so rude no manners at all. Could not even answer simple questions. Would not trust a doctor with staff like this.
Dr. Davis is excellent - I have seen him twice now in the past six months. Each time he has not rushed me, has been very thorough in his review and explanations, encourages questions, and is passionate about neuroscience. He is extremely intelligent and offered several different options each time I met with him. I am very impressed with him.
Had endoscopic disc decompression for foot drop due to nerve entrapment. Dr. Davis is a straight shooter, fully informing you if he can help. He is calm, professional, and eager to ensure his patients fully understand his proposed treatment, its potential benefits, and its potential drawbacks. His practice is NOT a meat shop. If he doesn't think you are a good surgical patient, he will not treat you. Can't recommend him more highly!
Wife had an abscess in her Brain. Dr. Davis was extremely skilled and knowledgeable. He took all the time we needed to explain our options, discuss what type of procedure would be done and afterward visited many times to check up on her and answer all our questions. His bedside manner was very good and his explanations were direct and clear. In my opinion, Dr Davis is talented, kind, and very skilled. He is an excellent neurosurgeon. I would recommend him to everyone.
When i went in i was in a wheelchair walk. Out of there he is the best he worked on lower back and neck.
