Our initial call to Davis & Davis was Christmas 2016. We came home to a house filled with gas due to leaks in the gas lines. Plumbers came out that evening to assess the situation and returned the next day to replace the lines for a very reasonable price. Fast-forward to January 2019, we have a leaking water heater. I called on a Friday and told them it wasn't an emergency, so they sent Dallas out on Monday. Dallas examined the old water heater and recommended replacing (and bringing connections up to code). I had Davis and Davis plumbing repair my P-Trap in a basement tub that was damaged during a construction project. They replaced the area, but it did not seem to line up the same, the new P-Trap is now touching a copper water line. The new P-Trap does not flow as fast as the old one and now has a rubber compression fitting with two hose clamps.... while they reassure me the rubber fitting is an approved solution by code, I was informed that there would be an additional charge to change out this fitting.
