The BBQ is terrible and breakfast is even worse. No one that works there seems to care. The food is all pre-made and served cold.
Very nice staff. Marginal BBQ, at best. Brisket was tough, sausage was good, green beans were not great. Pinto beans are not a free side, unlike other BBQ restaurants in town. When you have Backwoods in town, it’s hard to justify eating here for the same price.
Great family and great food....Not sure what others are talking about but we love this place and eat there often...
We paid $32.00 for two plates with 2 meats each and 2 teas, 1 banana pudding. The brisket tasted oven baked or steamed, it was tender and moist but in no way resembled BBQ meat, no smoke at all none! The pork roast was a pile of greasy, fatty dried up pieces of what appeared to be a pork butt roast, I couldn't eat it. It was gross. No flavor AT ALL. I think MRE is better.
We love David's Pit BBQ! So much so they catered our rehearsal dinner and wedding! And apparently our 1 year old is a huge fan of the brisket. If you haven't tried the sweet potatoe fries you are missing out!
