Dr Thornton has been my Pulmonologist sense 2006, He diagnosed me with Pulmonary Fibrosis, asthma and COPD. My prognosis by the media doctors was 4 years and I'm still alive in 2024 and doing fine for a 77 year old man! The thing I like about Dr. Thornton is his thoroughness and taking the time to listen to me to best treat me and what's ailing me so I feel better and get stronger. He was my grandfather’s doctor, he had pulmonary fibrosis. Dr. Thornton told my grandfather his lungs were getting better and two months later he passed.. thank God for Duke, they made his passing comfortable. Still disappointed in the fact he was told he was getting better instead of preparing for the opposite..
Very disappointed in test. techs lack of experience and communication
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my husband’s pulmonary fibrosis. He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor with the lost art of a caring bedside manner.
