I stopped going to Dr Stroble years ago due to the rudeness of the staff. Dr Stroble himself is very good. I took my mother there today, She was picking up a needle for self injections for the first time. Unbelievably, a person came out of the back and with no conversation handed my mother the needle in a brown bag and walked away. I am a Medicare beneficiary. I did not sign a waiver in case Medicare did not cover the procedure. They sent the bill to the wrong Insurance -United- I have spent many hours on the phone with United and with the office trying to straighten this out. I received nothing but rudeness asking me to drive to the office with my card when I live 1000 miles awau.Nonetheless they keep sending the bill to the wrong address. asking me to pay 100 percent of charges when he is a Medicare participating provider. Dr. Strobel immediately diagnosed my issue. To make absolutely certain, he conducted a biopsy. My previous doc had diagnosed Herpes. It wasn’t getting better so I went to Strobel. He determined that it was Plaque psoriasis, which the biopsy confirmed. I have no idea what others are talking about when they talk about the staff being rude. I saw Jayme a few weeks ago and was a little leary of the office because of some of the reviews, but I still wanted to give them a chance. Glad I did. The woman at the front desk was very nice, she did her job and some small talk but she was very nice. Then I was greeted by Jaimes assistant who was also very kind and interested in why I was here. I had a very positive experience. The lady at the front desk was not rude at all, she just did her job and did not have a lot to say. There were two ladies in the back who work with the doctors. If a patient was ignored it may have been that the other two ladies were busy with patients and updating the medical records. Dr Stroebel was very nice and like a regular person. I highly recommend Dr. David Strobel and his PA, Jamie WIlliams, however, the two women that work in the office for him are very rude, condescending and don't even acknowledge you when you come in for your appt. They just call your name and are very abrupt. They did not send in a prescription they were supposed to and when I asked about it, I was spoken to very rudely. They are very inflexible on squeezing you in for an appt. I can never get an appointment with Dr. Strobel, only the PA.
As other reviewers have mentioned, one of the receptionists is very rude & disrespectful to patients. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in the healthcare industry in my life. She disrespected me on the phone, was rude to my family & had an attitude when I simply called to verify my appointment date & time, she replied by saying to me “that’s not what I said in the message now is it?!” i took the high road & thanked her for her time & inconvenience but I was appalled by the treatment.
Bad experience. I should of went with my prior dermatologist that was amazing. The lady at the front desk is rude .
I received a bill because the insurance did not cover the visit. I called the doctor's office to make payment arrangements they never called me back. I mailed in a payment once a month for 4 months, on the 5th month I received a notice from a collection agency that I was delinquent on the account. I will never go back to this doctor's office again
