I have been dealing with a difficult skin condition for almost 2 years now and had lost hope that I would ever be healed. I had gone to several doctors who didnt have a real sense of urgency to what was happening to me and I understood that because there are much more critical issues that people deal with.I saw Dr. Sheinbein and for the first time through all of this, I was heard and there was a concern and sense of urgency to find out what was going on. I cant tell you how much that meant to me because for the first time in... read more
Dr Sheinbein performed an excision on pre-cancerous spots on my chest and lower leg in the office. I’ve had no problems since.
David Sheinbein may just be the worst experience I've had at a doctor's office. Upon arriving, waiting to be seen, I could hear the doctors and nurses outside talking about getting drunk at a conference and who went where and what hotel. Okay...residents and last gaspers for a good time who want to fit in with the 20-somethings. God bless 'em. Next: a rookie doctor comes in, and I explain that I was referred by someone and what the diagnosis is. He has no idea what this is and starts to Google, he recommends a topical steroi... read more
Dr. Sheinbein’s resident doctor is getting the stars. Dr. Sheinbein and I interacted for less than 60 seconds during which he undiagnosed me. It’s a miracle! I’m cured!
Dr sheinbein is wonderful! He has bent over backwards to help me with my issues. His office staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended
Don't expect courtesy when dealing with this office. I gave them the courtesy of calling to cancel an appointment. They kept me on hold for over eight minutes so that I could do that. When I complained about the hold time, they hung up on me.
I found him rude. He questioned whether I have a skin disease that I've been treated for going on 40 years. His words were that he couldn't see it. (I'm well managed). So, he did nothing for me then put on my record a recommendation to come back. I don't think so. I will go to someone who is kind and caring. By the way, he is the kind of doctor who sends in a less experienced doctor to do all the work, then he spends 10 minutes with you.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sheinbein for over 15 years. He has helped me through two squamous carcinomas and two basal cell carcinomas as well as numerous 'not normal' lesions. I see him every six months. I recommend his practice.
Do not use Dr. Sheinbein. After a routine mole check, my husband was told by Dr. Sheinbein that none of his moles were cancerous. However, he would have them cosmetically removed for a flat fee of $150. He scheduled an appointment to come back to have them cosmetically removed and 3 months later we got a bill from his office for $250 and a bill from the lab for $1,100. Dr. Sheinbein sent these to the lab without ever running it by my husband and now we are stuck with a bill we can't afford.
