Long story short, David's shop will not flim-flam you imo. He's an honest guy, on top of being a first-rate mechanic.

I’ve used David a couple of times in the past and his services have always been exceptional. Honest work, honest pricing. TA Truck Repair quoted me $900 for a job and David laughed and said “No son, it don’t cost nearly that much…….” So munch on that for a while. He could’ve said, he’d do it for $700 and I would’ve thought I was getting a deal. His final price, parts included was around $400. So yes, I would absolutely unequivocally recommend David.
