I have age related macular degeneration. For almost 20 years I have regularly received injections into both eyes for this condition. I know the routine very well. I am also physically disabled with major spinal injuries that make it very difficult and extremely painful to be in many positions, such as being in an eye doctor's chair. Dr. Sarraf is an outstanding doctor, and I feel truly blessed to have him in my corner. 12 years ago, I was a Kaiser patient when I developed 10 tears in my right retina, which I quickly perceived was a very serious situation that could easily end up with a retinal detachment.
