I wanted to let Dr. Raskas know how much I appreciate what he has given to me. I was in the worst pain EVER and was sure I would never be able to enjoy all the things I love to do most. Wrong. Dr Raskas provided a carefully studied diagnosis after ordering and studying a Myelogram to clear up questions. He took the time to show me the evidence of his diagnosis on the imaging, answer my many concerns and laid out my options clearly. Sharp contrast to physician #2 who relied on an x-ray, gave vague information, spent less then 5 minutes in exam, made a cursory scan of imaging provided before delivering a dissimilar diagnosis and recommendation. It made our decision easy.

Dr Raskas has ruined my life by performing an unnecessary surgery that resulted in numerous side effects. 3 years after surgery I am still trying to recover. Dr Raskas really only seemed interested in doing surgery as my only option and afterward provided little support other than narcotics for pain. He would not authorize physical therapy despite my requests and because of this I had severe muscle atrophy. He was dis-interested in my progress after my surgery and seemed anxious to pass me on.
