I was told by the office they accepted my insurance, had 2 office visits, and THEN was told they did not accept my insurance. They refused to accept Illinois medicaid, and i had a secondary insurance at the time that was refused because it was out of Iowa AFTER i was told that it shouldnt matter which state it was out of. So they hired a lawyer to sue me for $1300. This is why this office discharges patients so quickly, they're worried about a lawsuit from their patients because they are sue happy themselves.

My in-law grandmother waited a year for a prolapsed uterus procedure to be done 70 some years old and drove hours from home to go to a surgery arrived at the hospital got prepared for the surgery only to express her anxiety behind having a big surgery (as if she is to be perfectly sound at the age she is going under anesthesia with the risks it holds) and not knowing what she may go through, after having expressed her thoughts the “doctor” came in and told her he wouldn’t be doing her surgery because she clearly didn’t “unde... read more

One of the BEST doctors! Patient, kind, honest, thoughtful, and takes his time. Dr. Asbery and his entire staff are outstanding.
