dr richards is a hack. he did my knee and i have a huge scar. it bled all the time. i had a lot of pain. it became infected and i had to go to the hospital again. it put me way behind in therapy. i never recovered full use of my leg. i had my other knee done 10 years later. i was so afraid to go in and have it done. it was like night and day. small scar, no pain and immediate recovery. do not go to this doctor. he doesn't know what he is doing
Wait over an hour for less than a 5 minute appointment. This office and practice is more interested in getting your money than helping you get better.
My wife was referred to him for a torn rotator cuff in Jan. He said he wasn't able to repair rotator cuff but cleaned it out. Sent her to therapy. She was getting no better. He scheduled for another surgery to repair rotator cuff. He said he wasn't able to do what he wanted. Cleaned it up. She is worse off than when it was started. Her follow up was today. He asked her if she had started therapy. I went off. 2 failed surgery attempts to supposedly repair her rotator cuff. Waste of time and money
I was treated after I car accident didn't receive an app right away due to car insurance my surgon on april 6 2018 office visits has been prompt main concern is having a limp in left leg after knee replacement and what exactly was placed in knee bone pushed up only
Very easy to talk to
Unfortunately I was supposed to have my second surgery with Dr. Richards and it ended up that insurance denied it due to lack of information to prove it was necessary. Instead of Dr. Richards calling and doing a peer to peer review of my surgery, which could have resolved this issue within a matter of days, he told me he would write a letter. Well long story short, I couldn't get a hold of him to talk and his secretary was EXTREMELY rude to me. I was very disappointed to say the least.
Focused, caring and he listened to my questions then thoughtfully answered each one.
