Dr. Smith was our family's physician for decades. I have a different doctor now only because I moved out of state. He is the ideal PCP - knowledgeable, caring, open to patient questions and suggestions for treatment, completely transparent and trustworthy. During the 1990s up to 2010 the office staff were all top-notch. Kudos to him for staying true to his profession and his patients during trying times for medical practices because of predatory, almost criminal, practices by the insurance and drug industries.
The front office staff including the manager should be retrained. Do not believe anything unless it is in writing and on file. They are not concerning about your situation. Dr.Smith is wonderful however the staff needs to be changed. I have been a patient for 20 plus years and Never consider changing until now. Be careful and make sure you repeat yourself so they are clear.
I find Dr Smith to be Caring and thoughtful listens and ask questions about your health. Excellent and very professional.
