I've seen many gastro docs throughout the years and I travel an hr to see Dr Silvers because he is the best and kindest I've found.
In 2012 I needed a doctor knowledgeable with Crohn’s. Dr Silvers was recommended by a friend. I have never thought twice about going to him-even though I now live across the lake. Will gladly travel to see him.
You would be hard pressed to find a more caring and compassionate physician than Dr Silvers. His reassuring and calm nature is exactly what you want in a doctor.

Dr. Silvers came highly recommended as the best doctor in Metairie to perform my colonoscopy. Upon meeting him, I felt very comfortable with him. He was very friendly and very confident in his ability to handle my procedure considering my other health issues. My procedure went as scheduled without any complications. I would recommend Dr. Silvers to anyone needing gastroenterology services.
