I immediately felt comfortable with Dr Vassos. His staff are great and treated me with care and respect. I unreservedly recommend him. The procedure to have the implants was pretty good all round. After the doctor room the time to show me my x rays and explain his prognosis. Thank you Dr Vassos
Had three front upper implants put in. He was knowledgeable in getting bone grafting done..as I had very litgle bone there..losing my teeth when I was a young girl. It took about a year for the bone grafting then the abutments to be put in. Dr. Vassos bedside manner was not good. My implants did take well... and I went with him because he was recommended by my dentist at the time. I lost my natural teeth in my teens and was told in my 30s I may be unable, due to serious bone loss, to wear dentures much longer. I sought Dr. Vassos' help and he turned my life around! In 1981 he installed an implant which stabilized my lower denture. Building on that success a few years later, he augmented the upper ridge and installed implants which stabilized the upper denture and prevented further bone loss. I had three implants placed by Dr. Vassos recently. His staff are very pleasant and knowlegable, and have been with him for many years, two over thirty, so that says something to me about the man as an employer. As a dentist, he knows what he is doing, explains procedures well, and because he is skilled at what he does, I had no pain or discomfort afterwards. I shopped around for costs before my treatment and his fees are very fair. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs dental implants.
My wife visited Dr. Vassos for a consultation. She is a strong confident woman who came home crying. Dr. Vassos was rude and aggressive, and it felt to me like he was playing on my wife's emotions to manipulate her into a brash decision. It felt like pressure sales. We did get a second professional opinion and found conflicting results. To say dr. Vassos is lacking in bedside manners is an understatement. Very pleasant staff , dr vassos can come off a little harsh at times but he is the best at what he does! I had one implant and everything was great minimal pain and a beautiful tooth, I would recommend his office to anyone :)
He is a very rude and unkind man. My dentist sent me to him about 7 years ago to have 2 implants and guess what? One of them has now failed and as I also have a broken bridge, I am now having to have a full upper denture. He told me the bone graft hadn't taken very well, and got mad at me for that, and went ahead with the implants. When they implant failed I knew I wasn't going back to him for four more implants at who knows what cost, so I am opting for dentures with a very capable oral surgeon. My wife visit Vassos clinic this morning. She was seen by Dr. Colin Diener.. he started asking he personal questions about her , questioning her work and her nationality. Very cocky and and overconfident, totally unprofessional my wife left the clinic and does not feel comfortable of coming anywhere close to this Dr or this clinic !
I would never go to Dr. Vassos again. He was incredibly rude to his staff and to me. He told me I should see a dermatologist for my acne- he is a dentist. Why is he insulting? He also told me i had a smile from hell. During the surgery- I had 3 implants. The freezing wore off and he didnt give me more so i could feel verything by the end. This was a horrible experince for me. He cares nothing about patient comfort.
