Dr. Gutstein is so caring, so very kind and incredibly professional. Dr Gutstein helped my husband, Donald Arbeene, through a difficult complication of Gallbladder surgery. And literally saved Donald's life. Dr Gutstein has guided Donald through his recovery daily and Donald is now going home.?? Your attention to my husband's care is amazing. We are eternally grateful. The Encompass Rehabilitation Center,Cape Coral, has an excellent doctor with them. Thank you. Linda and Donald

Took forever to get in, even with severe symptoms. Standard MO is CT, antibiotics, quick surgery, w/o a colonscopy! Very haphazard visits… Got second opinion after colonscopy and DID NOT NEED SURGERY! Don’t let him send you to his buddy, the surgeon!

Very disappointed. Office unorganized. Dr is very short with patient questions, wouldn’t answer some questions. Uninterested in my concerns. After two colonoscopies decided to move on.

I only wish that Dr. Gutstein was 1/2 as good as he thinks he is. My husband and I were patients of his for a # of years. During that time, he always boasted that "we'll NEVER get cancer on his watch." Last year my husband was complaining about rectal bleeding. Because his colonoscopy the prior year was supposed clean, Dr. Gutstein insisted the problem was bleeding hemorrhoids and was treating him for that. The bleeding worsened. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Gutstein when I had my colonoscopy. The doctor is very friendly and explains everything both prior and after the procedure. I had a malignant polyp and he was able to get all the bad stuff out during the procedure. I still had to have colon cancer surgery to be sure, but due to all the bad stuff being remove, the portion of my colon removed came back clean on the pathology report which meant no chemo or other follow up care. I recently met Dr Gutsrin as I was scheduled for a procedure via my PCP. As a practicing Physician Assistant, I’m quite particular in my choice of care providers. Dr Gutstein is now my GI doc for life!

They were running about 2 hour behind. Met the dr for the first time for about 30 seconds before the procedure. After he made it clear he didn’t want me to question or ask for clarification so I could understand what he was saying. His attitude was that I should shut up and listen. Not my fault it was after 5:00

This doctor is right on target - he listens to you, assesses and gives you his conclusion. Dr. Gutstein is quite brilliant, quick and gets to the point but is not gruff. My assessment as a retired RN, CCRN (certified in critical care)

I have been a patient of Dr. Gutstein's for over 20 years and have always had confidence in his advice and skills. Although Gloria runs the show, he still has my loyalty and keeps my digestive system healthy. Thanks to Dr. Gutstein, Gloria, and his great team.
