I tried to make an appointment but the call was never picked up. I call a second time and a very pleasant lady answered the phone. I requested to make an appointment with dr Gutman who longer works there and she was kind enough to provide me with the other doctors names so I can research their qualifications. I looking for a gastro doctor and I found dr Gutman and called. To my surprise, the doctor is still listed on the web site but he no longer works there for a year or so......... Office DOES NOT return calls. Le t several messages over a 2 week period, to get my medical records and no response. I guess i will have to take a day off work and show up and demand my records.
Dr Gutman is an excellent doctor! He is a genuine good person, he goes above & beyond to help in any way. He explains everything in great detail & answers any & all questions you may have. I have known Dr Gutman for at least 20 years. I used to work with him, he treats everyone one with respect & kindness. I did not become his patient until I moved to NC a number of years ago. I have followed him to a number of offices. He is the only gastro doctor I will see & is worth the trip back to L.I.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gutman for over 20 years and have recommended him to other family members . I have found that he takes his time and listens to his patients. His diagnoses are very accurate after comprehensive testing . When discussing my health condition , I find him to be informed of recent medical literature which he takes the opportunity to share with me. I recommend Dr. Gutman to anyone who is seeking excellent medical care.

Great doctor who takes his time to get to know your issue and works to help you with a plan with your problem.
Dr. Gutman is thorough and compassionate. I will try to follow him where ever his practice may be. I just wish he would schedule less patients so I didn't have to wait so long to get great care. There are only three doctors I would wait to see - Dr. Gutman is one of them.
