Excellent doctor with very professional staff.
Our family has been seeing medical providers from Lott Behavioral Health for the past year. We have had to switch Drs. a few times and Dr Lott is by far the best doctor we’ve received care from in the Naperville area. He is patient and takes his time listening to the patient’s needs. Have been using Dr Lott and his staff’s services for over a year. Great team to work with in every aspect. The respect they provide is exceptional, the care for your well being upmost importance. Without a doubt would recommend for others in need of the services, or thinking about the services to reach out to his staff!
I believe Dr.Lott did his best with me. I had really bad postpartum, so that manifested to look like a serious more Illness. I did take advice and unfortunately called a lot he always returned my phone call. I do feel like I was over medicated and not listen to some degree as to why I stopped seeing him but that’s also lack of clearly communicating. He suggests unnecessary treatments and unnecessary medicines he will make you worse.
Absolutely horrible if you are looking for somebody in behavioral medicine avoid this office. I called Monday morning at 8 AM I did not get a call back until Wednesday morning. I was having trouble with my medication I had some questions I was concerned and nobody ever got back in touch with me I actually called and left four messages and spoke to the receptionist three different times and nobody called me back. They apparently have a little concern for their patience…
I have been seeing Dr. Lott for over 15 years. I was first treated by him when I entered the Linden Oaks facility (for drug rehab). Since then, I have seen him on a regular basis...Dr. Lott is a great guy (as a person) and a fantastic doctor. I have been sober for about 12 solid years, having overcome a nasty opiate problem. While no doctor can "make" a person decide to get sober, they can be there to offer top notch medical care and personal empathy. Dr. Lott excels at both of these.
Dr. Lott has been treating my husband for about a year. We've seen multiple psychiatrists over the years and Dr. Lott is the first that truly cares. He asks questions and really listens to our answers; it's obvious that he wants to figure out what's going on. He doesn't just write a prescription and send you on your way. We finally feel like we aren't on this journey alone and that is priceless. You may wait for your appointment but in turn you will never be rushed during your time with him.
I was a patient of Dry. Lott for over 6 years and recommend him multiple times. He is not a therapist so he doesn't give sympathy or empathy, he is a great psychiatrist and he is very good at listening and suggesting what medications he thinks is best. You are your best advocate for what medications work for you. He really works with you to find medications that will work for the individual patient.
