I have always had great experiences with Dr. Schiff. He was my grandmothers and mothers doctor and my doctor. Class act. Sincere. Laser focused. And thorough. Caught issues in my mom's bloodwork other Cedars doctors missed. Just that alone is worth shouting with glee about. Whoever has a problem with his razor sharp scheduling and no-nonsense approach either doesn't get it, that he has a full life, or is jealous he is a family man. Dr. Schiff is a phenomenal doctor.
I am writing this for my mother, she went to the office in Dec. 2016. After she had her exam and speaking with Dr. Schiff, I went to speak to him concerning another doctor that I wanted him to send my mothers records. Within a matter of seconds I could feel the chill in the air and he turned away from me, it was as if I didn't exist. My mom has never gotten the results of her exam either by phone or letter. My mom became ill but believe me I won't be calling this person ever again!
He is always traveling and does not have a back up physician that can prescribe refills, or help you. He is rude and abrasive, and treats patients like we are in the way. I went there for refills as I was leaving on a trip, and he took me into his office and told me that I should be happy, as David Bowie just died. I have severe asthma and cannot sleep. Quite frankly, I am not concerned about David Bowie, my needs supersede those of a dead celebrity. I would never recommend him to my friends.
