Great Doctor
Dr Kandath is one of the best cardiologists in my are. My husband and I are both his patients. He’s kind, he listens and he doesn’t rush you. I’d score him higher if I could.
I felt like he didn’t take me serious. My blood pressure all my life has been low between 104-109 at a high. My last blood donation it was at 138 I went to urgent care and there it was 125 which is still elevated for me. Went for a physical and they agreed I should see cardiologist . I felt mocked by him if I could read his mind he was annoyed I was there… by the way I was told I was his first patient and he was 40 minutes late for me .nothing warm or friendly about him. He listens to me without interrupting. He fully answers my questions. He explains my diagnosis and treatment, and specifies a date for a follow-up visit.
The doctor did not show up for his 8am appointment. I complained that I was not being seen. At 820 his nurse called me and told me I would have to undergo preliminaries. I requested to see the doctor instead as it was late and was told that he was not even in the office yet (now 825) despite that he had a 8am appointment. I asked her to explain why he was late and was told that this was typical and what I could expect from his services. In the end I wasted an hour. I never rec'd an apology
