I had my first appointment with Dr. David Morrell which provided the information and clarification I needed for my situation. Dr. Morrell had reviewed and understood my past medical history and current health status and provided an excellent review of my options for future potential surgeries, along with their risks. Dr. Morrell was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in his diagnosis and proposed treatment for my health issues.

Had a very bad experience with him and DR Chen a general surgeon of LDS Hospital. I called the number that Dr Morrell called me from after surgery and got DR Chen instead of my surgeon. He was very rude and defensive towards me when confronted about the mistake made by my surgeon, As to DR Morrell I was not listened to. I specifically asked for a mesh hernia repair due to my lifestyle. I was told later on by my wife that he didn’t even use mesh like asked and agreed on before surgery. I had appointment with Dr Morell everyone was respectful and caring Dr. Morrell took time explaining things about what needs to be done to fix my hernia problem and explaining in away that I would understand I would recommend Dr Morrell to my family and friends anytime
