Dr. Hollander and his staff have worked with me for more than five years. He has always been professional and listened to my concerns. His office nurses are very competent and have always returned my calls in a timely manner. Dr. Hollander's has a P.A. that often will see you initially. She and Dr. Hollander confer with one another before they or the nurse returns my call. Colon issues are not like fixing a broken bone, they are complex issues and Dr. Hollander continues to help me!
I've been to Dr. Hollander for two procedures. Yes, his answers were short, but they were clear. Most importantly he completed my procedures in a manner that solved my problems. He provided me with written follow up procedures and advised as to when I should consider future procedures. He gets five stars because he did an excellent job in performing the procedure for which he was hired.
I saw Dr Hollander approximately 1 year ago. He did an endoscopy, dx small hiatal hernia. 3 calls to his office because no relief with diet and prescription medication. Dr. Hollander called me and said "stop saying your stomach hurts, your stomach doesn't hurt" "you have GERD, follow your diet, I can't do anything else for you". 1 year later, different doctor, surgery for hiatal hernia and gall bladder removal after suffering for a year. Dr. Hollander, worst doctor ever.
I had a great experience with Dr. Hollander. He was professional, reassuring, and kind.
I would NOT recommend this physician to anyone. His bedside manner is horrible, he doesn't listen very well to patient's health complaints, and is very rude and dismissive. This doctor came highly recommended by my network, but I was very disappointed. He prescribed medication without a true diagnosis so I had to see another physician for a second opinion. The office staff was very courteous and friendly and the office was clean, but this physician was the WORST I have ever seen.
