Dr. Astrachan walks into the exam room with a friendly "hello" and a solid handshake. He exhibits competence and compassion. He is courteous and listens, offers advice but allows the patient to make the decisions. I have the utmost confidence in him! His staff is helpful and courteous and with the number of offices in the area, getting an appointment is usually not a problem. I have recommended Dr. Astrachan to friends and colleagues and will continue to do so.

Did not like him at all. Was very rough when drying to clean my ears. No doctor before or after was ever that painful.
If you have ENT issues, don't wait, don't suffer - see Dr. Astrachan. I've had sinus problems for years and was treated by numerous others unsuccessfully. Dr. Astrachan correctly diagnosed my issue(s), advised me of all my options, and explained exactly what is going to happen each step of the way. He operated on me and monitored my progress throughout recovery. The process went exactly as he said it would and I'm cured (finally)! Dr. Astrachan is the doctor you want for a loved one.
I waited over 1 hr to see the dr. I learned that he was leaving for vac that afternoon & caused the backup for the morning. When he saw me, 3 mins were spent. First he was looking at x-rays (which I never had) & said I had a deviated septum. I was there for an earache. He looked at my ear, throat, & touched around my ear. He handed me a piece of paper and told me to follow the instructions. He said my problem was TMJ, not the case because my symptoms are different. Going to another ENT.
After being seen by 3 doctors that could not diagnose my problem I went to see Dr. Astrachan. When I scheduled the appointment I discussed my problem with the woman making the appointment. She said Dr Astrachan is good with diagnosing oddities. Within 10 minutes at my appointment Dr Astrachan diagnosed me with Pallatol Myoclonus.Taking medication before bedtime resolves the problem. I returned with a second issue which was diagnosed as esophagitis as a result of taking anti inflammatory meds. ??
Dr. Astrachan was so unprofesional . He treated patient very bad . Yeling , attitude , not answering questions .When we got home , hes secratary called us to appologies and to return our copay money. She told us that he had a bad day. That's not excuse to treat patients like that . We changed the doctor right away

Doctor Astrachan can work wonders for a deviated septum. I have always had a deviated septum and put off seeing an ENT doctor my whole life (29 years), but I fell and broke my nose in November.
