Dr. Husted sees one of my family members and provides the person whatever drugs they want. They are on sleeping pills and ADHD medication and now my family member is addicted and has lost multiple jobs and sleeps for weeks at a time and won’t answer anyone. We told him our concern and he still gives my family member these pills and doesn’t care about there QOL. This is sad.
Dr. Husted really took his time with me and listened. Afterward, he came up with a plan of action for me and gave me some really great advice on day-to-day things I can do to get there.
Dr Husted is one of the most compassionate, respectful and knowledgeable doctors. He has been a true blessing in my life. His observations and suggestions are always right on target. I appreciate all he has done for me during this time of my life. His office staff is also friendly and efficient. Dr Husted is also very prompt and does his absolute best to never have a patient wait to see him. I highly recommend Dr Husted.

Amazing doctor, he knows what he needs to know to practice. Rare to find providers like him now a days in this field. Does not over prescribe, he wants you to get well, cares for you that is something i have never seen in so far until now. This 1 incident tells a lot about Dr. Husted: a year ago during a hospital visit, I was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney failure a result of high lithium dosages I had been on for 30 yrs. Dr. H got me off lithium and moved me to a medication without disrupting my mental stability. I owe him my kidneys for that. I would not have left lithium for any other shrink. My experience with Dr. Husted has been exemplary. I have been his patient for several years due to severe depression. I am now taking medications that keep my depression in check as well as exercise and my hobbies. It took some time to find the best medications for me and Dr. Husted was and is always a keen observer, compassionate and motivating listener. I credit Dr. Husted for saving my life.
