Dr. Gumucio - What can I say, he's fantastic. Took my wife to a recent appointment for support and she said the same! What a guy! Smart, listens, talks, questions, evaluates, researches, diagnoses, treats, flexible and works with you! One of the good ones! Don't hesitate to make an appointment. The Dr and staff are wonderful people!!!
Dr. Gumucio was over 30 minutes late to my appointment, and seemed to be in a huge rush the entire time. It didn't feel as though he cared much about me or my health, just getting through the appointment as fast as possible. I had no opportunity to ask questions, and he was very dismissive of my concerns about properly writing my prescriptions (I've had doctors order things wrong before and cost me a lot of money, so I always try to verify that they're doing it properly). Dr. Gumucio goes above and beyond to explain what he is doing. He takes the time to fully understand your problem. He does not take short cuts and asks you what you feel the problem is.That is a lost art with doctors asking the Patient what he/she thinks the problem. An old doctor years told me YOU KNOW YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE i never forgot that, he was right.I already recommended him to 4 others.
Dr. G is fantastic. He takes time to really listen, like no other doctor I've ever encountered.
I LOVE this Dr. I saw Dr. Gumucio through West Primary. He did an EKG, I wasn't thrilled about doing it, I was running late . Dr. Gumucio detected a small change in my EKG, that was faxed to my heart Dr. while I was still there, my heart Dr. put me in the hospital instantly. It was confirmed I was on the verge of a heart attack. He is the only Dr. that has called me PERSONALLY to see how I was doing. He is clean cut and easy to talk to.
