A competent surgeon who replaced my hip in July 2018. He visited me twice in the hospital (a 2 day stay). His explanations were thorough and his manner encouraging.
Dr. Edelstein replaced my right knee in 2.2017 and my left in 9.2017. I am walking better than I have in tens years. The scars on my knees are thin and straight. I am very pleased with Dr. Edelstein and his incredible staff. Martha B.
Explained everything very well; provided options; and his work was excellent.
Very disorganized office. Made an appointment and the day before the appointment received a letter (no phone call) cancelling the appointment because the doctor was unavailable. I then revived a letter chastising me for missing an appointment and implying I would be assessed a fee for being a no-show. When I called to complain I encountered rude personnel who refused to admit their error or withdraw the letter. Do not recommend this doctor or Kelsey-Seybold.
Probably very capable. Poor, dismissive bedside manner.
My experience with Dr. Edelstein was great. Both of my hips had degenerative arthritis and he performed hip replacement surgery on both within the same year. While I had complications with the second surgery (staff infection), he was aggressive with the treatment and cured the problem. I have the utmost appreciation and respect for him. He was professional and truly cares for his patience. His care improved my quality of life and I for that I am grateful and would highly recommend using him.
