My 19-year-old son had elective foot surgery to correct a severe bunion. He has type 1 diabetes, so we approach EVERYTHING with tremendous caution. Dr. Caldarella was always accessible, patient, and kind. The outcome is MAGNIFICENT...beautifully corrected foot that's connected to a very happy patient. Dr. Caldarella is a very caring, compassionate foot Doctor/Surgeon. He takes time to explain everything in detail without making you feel rushed, is very friendly, and is extremely knowledgeable. I had a ganglion cyst removed from my ankle. Dr. Caldarella was extremely professional kind and overall did a wonderful job. i would highly recommend him.
Great experience with doctor Caldarella during my first mtpj (big toe) fusion to fix my hallux rigidus. Friendly and caring, he worked with me for years with steroid shots and shoe inserts to give me relief from constant pain, allowing me to hike, run, and backpack. When the joint became too degraded for these interventions he guided me in the decision to fuse the joint. He gave me his personal phone number in advance of surgery! I highly recommend Dr. Caldarella. My son suffered a serious ankle injury while playing high school football and we went to see Dr. Caldarella. After hearing the circumstances, Dr. Caldarella made sure to see my son almost immediately. He was thoughtful, caring, compassionate, patient, and extremely knowledgable.
