He’s not the best communicator but he seems to know what he is doing.
He was so mean about my request for strabismus surgery. He said "No you're too fat to get that, loose weight first." I left the office crying.
I had severe cataracts and many retinal detachment. Dr Kaye restored my vision and I'm seeing 20/20. Experience is what you get when choosing the best.
I admit Dr. David Kaye is not the most open (sociable) person I've met, BUT: he is the best ophthalmologist I have ever met! My mom saw Dr.K. for a while, and I've interacted with him that way. I found he is more on the taciturn side (reserved). I usually have many Qs and expect a lot of answers. My mom convinced me to see Dr.K. after seeing 2 other ophthalm. who could not solve a condition for 3 months. Reluctantly, I said "OK, I'll try one more".
