The staff here is cold and they do not care about you. They tried to charge me for the full amount even though I had insurance and refused to treat me because I wouldnt pay them up front. It was very wrong of them to do this. I later called my insurance because the lady told me that the claim hadnt gone through yet, it was still pending, and my insurance said that they hadnt even sent a claim over, just an assessment review, so I dont understand why she would lie to me like that. My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Smeltzer and had no trouble at all. Consulted at the Powell office and removal procedure at the Marysville office. Staff in both locations were great and was easy to communicate following the procedure with any questions. Good experience.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. Right after the surgery, the Dr. Smeltzer said he had to go deeper than expected and that my daughter may be in pain. While in recovery, she awoke in a lot of pain. At first, the nurse tried to down play it and say that many kids wake up emotional. But my daughter was crying and then saying that she was in pain, even through the anesthesia fog. The nurse said she'd tell the doctor but he with another patient and no one else in the office was authorized to help my daughter. Once he fi... read more
