Excellent doctor. Very thorough with a great bedside manner.
Dr.Hughes has been our family doctor since 2012 and has a very caring way of communicating with everyone .His expertise in treating each patient is unique in that he listens intently to your concerns , your thoughts and family history while making a good approach to your situation. Highly recommended are his assistants & all office staff.
I like consulting with Dr. Hughes. He is friendly and congenial. What's rare these days is finding a doctor that listens attentively without spending 90% of the consultation time typing away on a keyboard. His approach is practical and customized and he seems to advocate physical therapy before rushing into, and relying solely upon, prescription medication, an approach that I fully share. It's good to meet a down-to-earth doctor who is also knowledgeable and professional.
My husband has been intubated in a medically induced coma at the hospital, and Dr. Hughes used that as an excuse to vax-shame us. Unbelievable. I will never go back to him.
It's been a long time since I've been to the doctors. I didn't know what to expect and I certainly didn't think it could be pleasant. He's extremely intelligent, he listened to all of my concerns, he helped me to help him with the gaps in my medical care and it was just top notch all around.
Dr. Hughes is the best PCP I've ever seen. His care and bedside manner are exceptional. He is a great human.

We moved from Roswell, Ga to Dunedin 3 years ago and were fortunate to find Dr. David Hughes immediately. We have never felt rushed and he is eager to answer all our questions, occasionally even asking to do some additional research and get back to us, which we really appreciate. He is a skilled, thoughtful and caring physician who has taken excellent care of our health. I couldn't imagine a better doctor! He has also referred us to excellent specialists when necessary!
Dr Hughes has been the best doctor I have even had. He listens and he tells me what I need to hear. My wife and I would recommend him to anyone who wants the best of care.
