I’m so glad I found Dave’s Garage. These days, it’s so easy to get overcharged for even simple car repairs, but Dave has honestly saved me thousands of dollars by being fair, honest, and willing to work with me on the price without ever sacrificing the quality of the work. $120 for an oil change because they buy the oil "by the quart" I normally go down south in my work area for $85, but I was off today and stayed local and Dave had 5 stars with an opening. I drive a 2017 sedan, so I just don't see how this is fair pricing like I've seen mentioned in another review.
They took me right away and it was so quick and easy!!
Dave is just one honest mechanic. I had a tire that was giving me fits...it had a slow leak that I could not locate for the life of me. I first went to Mavis and two young guys looked at the tire and said it could not be repaired; tire had to be replaced. What I found interesting was one of the two said "I see the screw causing the leak and it is definitely unrepairable." The irony was he wasn't even pointing to the sheetrock screw the other kid identified. So they gave me a price of $279 installed for a new tire... I left a... read more
