I highly recommend Dave’s Garage in Venice. Dave has performed several repairs on my older vehicles, and every experience has been outstanding. He has always been able to get me in quickly, diagnose the problem accurately, and complete the repairs in a timely manner with high-quality workmanship. What impresses me most is Dave’s knowledge and honesty. He takes the time to explain what’s wrong, what needs to be fixed, and just as importantly what doesn’t need to be fixed. I’m so glad I found Dave’s Garage. These days, it’s so easy to get overcharged for even simple car repairs, but Dave has honestly saved me thousands of dollars by being fair, honest, and willing to work with me on the price without ever sacrificing the quality of the work. He’s been doing this for so long that he’s like a true car encyclopedia—he just knows the ins and outs of everything. There’s no runaround or unnecessary repairs, just honest advice and really good work. I’m genuinely grateful I found a mechanic I can trus... read more

What I found interesting was one of the two said "I see the screw causing the leak and it is definitely unrepairable." The irony was he wasn't even pointing to the sheetrock screw the other kid identified. So they gave me a price of $279 installed for a new tire... I left a... read more
