Shout out to Kehin. I really think he's a master of all things automotive. His experience spans gas, diesel, classic restorations, and rugged off‑road builds. He revived my old Ford truck, even tuning it up, and a handful of other things. Reliable, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. I feel like all that is a dying art in the automotive world. For any unique or challenging vehicles, Kehin and overall Dave's Auto is the go‑to mechanics

Javis at Dave's Auto is incredibly thorough. He took the time to find a hidden issue others missed… The team overall was very helpful.

Dave and his team are one of the best I’ve ever come across! Kyle is a very pleasant mechanic, attentive, and polite. He makes sure not to drag out the repair time. My Dodge looks drives like new after the repair! Plus, I picked up a spotless car after the service, so a special thanks for that. It’s great to see such care for customers

I recently shared my experience with Dave’s Auto Center’s hiring process in one of their public Facebook groups after completing a large unpaid trial edit assignment for a Video Editor role. The post was removed by moderators shortly afterward. What also stood out to me was noticing that a number of older negative customer reviews and critical discussions that had previously been publicly visible on Facebook no longer appeared to be accessible. Combined with my own experience having feedback removed, it raised concerns for ... read more

I just spent multiple days completing an unpaid “trial edit,” and I think we need to talk about hiring processes. This was for a Video Editor role at DAVE’S AUTO CENTER. TL;DR: 100GB+ of unstructured footage, a multi-day edit, and no clear details on benefits, PTO, pay structure (salary vs hourly), or overtime, even after the assignment was submitted. The role was described as full-time and in-house, but the trial required downloading and organizing massive amounts of footage, rebuilding a narrative from fragmented content... read more
