Dealing with idiots with too much time of their hands To Scott C-- I've been frequenting Davenports' shop for over 2 decades, and have nerver had any complaints. People like you that go to Mr. D's for a shave really piss me off. Shave at home, you idiot. Davenports Barber Shop Davenports is a wonderful place for anyone looking for a terrific barber. Mr Davenport himself is there almost every day. He always delivers on giving exactly what his patrons want. My husband has went to him for years, and would not go anywhere else for haircuts. I took my eldest son to him for his first haircut and Mr Davenport immediately put me at ease. My son, who is quite active and impatient, sat still the whole time while his hair was being cut, which totally surprised me. Mr. Davenport has a w... read more

Not a good experience I recently went to Davenport's for a shave and haircut, and was really disappointed. The gentlemen who shaved my face cut me in several places, left me with some pretty bad razor burn, and some spots were completely unshaven. He used cheap shaving cream from a can and generic aftershave, and performed most of the shave with a generic Bic razor. The haircut wasn't much better. When I left I was covered in hair and I had to go home and rinse off my head since they didn't offer to do it at the barber shop.... read more
