My car was shaking so I brought it in to be looked at. I was told it was a wheel bearing ($650~) and to bring it in the next day. $160 diagnosis, or $80 an hour. When you charge more than a doctor, I'd expect you to be right. I get in, they do it, and big surprise, they misdiagnosed it. It was also an axle ($1000+). Had I known I would have just replaced the car, at this point. Of course they don't tell me until after they install the wheel bearing. I complain and magically my bill for the wheel bearing is more than what I w... read more
