From arrival to departure a beautiful spa experience. My one hour relaxation massage was a gift and it was wonderfully received. The therapist was kind, informative and intuitive. The spa was calm, quiet and warm. Only suggestion would be a more private and relaxing post treatment space and to keep it more tidy. It felt like an after thought.
I was looking forward to visiting again as the last time I came for the drift away package, it was very relaxing. Unfortunately the treatment today was not relaxing. The music in the treatment room was very loud and the music volume changed throughout the treatment. As you are relaxing with the treatment and about the drift away, the loudness of the music would disturb and startle me. After a lovely long walk from home through the Parklands, Victoria Park and the Adelaide Himeji Garden and looking a little worse for wear we went to Daavar House Cafe for a break. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and directed to the cafe. The space is beautifully decorated and the menu had a good variety of food and beverages to select from. We were happy with our order and the service. I would love to return for a spa day.
Located at on the corner of South Terrace and Hutt Street, this beautifully-converted heritage building is now an oasis of calm perfect for pampering and relaxing. Overlooking the southern parklands, I found 4-hour parking quite easily on South Terrace (necessary if you are having more than one treatment). This was my first visit.
