Shakira does not take the time to properly numb or stitch her patients after an episiotomy. The cut was far from having enough stitches to close up and a very painful infection developed from my vaginal cut gaping open, which took 12 wks to heal up. I was told the only way to heal any faster was to go in for surgery, get re-cut and re-stitched because it needed to be all done correctly the first time and extra stitches just can't be simply added later.
