Dr. Das took the time to sit with me and ask questions and listen. She looked through a letter with lab results and took the time to really explain it to me. I have been holding on to that letter for several years not understanding it. I was very happy.
I waited several months before posting this because I didn't want to be identified. I had gone to Dr. Das for years and really enjoyed her, but the last 3 visits changed my opinion. Firstly, I couldn't believe how blatantly rude she was to the nurse. During a minor procedure I was having, Dr. Das kept snapping at her and berating her for not holding something just right. Dr. Das gave me hope and made feel like someone cared. She listened with a kind heart, made me feel like I was a friend not a patient. I wish I had met her sooner. I would never go to anyone else.
Major surgery with Dr. Das has been a relatively easy and surprisingly comfortable experience. From deciding on a path forward with her to our last appointment after surgery, I felt listened to and involved in the decisions we took toward my (much) better health. The management of my case both in her office and at Advent was superb and I never felt anything but total confidence in her or the hospital staff. Yesterday Dr. Das discharged me! When I met her in June, I had problems that needed to be addressed. My neighbor is a retired recovery room nurse at Adventist who new the doctor's reputation. In our first meeting she listened and made notes of my questions and answers . That day she made suggestions for me to follow. Fortunately, I did! Not only was she wise and knew what to do, but she encouraged me take this route and made me see it was the right one. I will always be grateful for her advice, skills and encouragement.
Dr. Das is very professional and caring. She explained my problem and the procedures required in a way that put me at ease. My questions were welcomed and patiently answered. My experience at Advent Hospital was excellent and the staff think very highly of Dr. Das. She is a wonderful doctor!
Very thorough exam and her follow thru is appreciated. She takes the least invasive approach first.
Dr. Das is so kind and so knowledgeable! Her confidence and experience helped me to feel more comfortable throughout both of my pregnancies and especially my labor/delivery experiences. I don’t think I ever would have been able to deliver without an epidural of it wasn’t for the trust and confidence I had in Das! I am so thankful for her and I know my husband is too! He also wouldn’t have made it through labor and delivery without her lol!
Dr. Das is very attentive and thorough. I have been a patient of hers for about 10 years. We have detailed conversations about my health and wellbeing and she is wonderful at remembering details from past visits even though I only see her once per year. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
