Management doesn't respond to complaints about the therapist or counselors. Difficult to access help through the community mental health problems and services. Which your family doctor can't refer you to these programs. You have to go through the broken community mental health system. Nova Scotia need to do better for community mental health services and programs for the people who are have mental health disabilities and disorders.
It is undeniable that some of the staff here are deeply compassionate, caring and really truly want to help you. And they have helped me overcome my mental health struggles immensely. However there are also staff here who are extremely unprofessional and make veiled comments and actions to mock the patients and I’ve seen too much of it and it’s broken my trust. Use caution if you or someone you love comes here for help. They might get help or they might get Regina George and company depending on their luck of the draw.
