I've been seeing Dr Dave since 2007 and have always been treated great!
I have NEVER written a negative review but: I appeared for my appointment, waited approximately 45 minutes to be shown to an exam room where I waited another 20 minutes. The "doctor" came in, made small talk for 2 minutes, described my condition for 2 minutes, said there was nothing that could be done for my condition and left. He barely let me ask questions. Dr. Dave was attentive and receptive to what was happening with me. His staff was wonderful and very kind. I made it clear I was not there for pain meds, but for a diagnosis and solutions to what was happening with me. (I think a ton of people go there expecting meds.) He ran tests and quickly referred me to another specialty because he believed there was another issue beyond my neck. He set me up with an MRI quickly and PT. I found Dr.Dave to be very professional, and caring. As a retired RN of 35 years I've seen alot of very uncaring doctors. Dr. Dave is not that way. He took his time with me and listened. His NP was kind, and caring and she listened. What else could a person ask for. I will be returning.
I would rather be treated by bidens support dog then to see this physician!
Rushed my appointment. Didn’t listen to me. Disregarded what I had to say. Heard him yelling at staff and degrading them. Heard him loudly talking about another patient in the hallway and using derogatory language. He doesn’t care about patients just the money he receives. Other doctors don’t even have anything nice to say about him. Avoid being referred to him. Go west to Huntington for quality care.
I believe Dr Dave cares but I feel as the other reviewers who spoke of the attitude of his NP. Like I'm a problem for her because there isn't much they can do for me. Never has this office spoke towards my pain in my head, face and jaw. I didn't know they were handling those type things but youd think theyd ask about it from my records. Many head surgeries and constant head and neck pain. I like the Dr. and he sent me to Cleveland to try and figure what to do with all my test results.
Eliminated my long time issue with headaches. Found the proper medications and levels to treat my condition. Follow ups are quick and to the point.
Always listens and NP's are great.
