In 2010 Marty Kotis transformed the shutdown Darryl's Restaurant and Bar into Darryl's Wood Fired Grill. The menu features a range of tantalizing steaks and ribs, along with American classics like burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. There is something for everyone on the menu here. You can also chug beers and dine on the patio or around the fire pit. Guests can also enjoy a unique dining experience in their two jail-themed rooms or the carnival area which is complete with Ferris wheel seating.

Awesome Shrimp and Grits – The Shrimp and Grits were awesome! The shrimp were cooked just right and I enjoyed the local yellow grits from Old Mill of Guilford.
very good pulled pork – The pork sandwhich included a generous helping of pork with very good smokey flavor. The accompanying sauce was good, but hardly needed. I've had it twice with good results both times. The pork was better than the time I did the "all you can eat" beef ribs, so I can't say that all their meat is excellent, but I highly rfecommend the pullled pork The service was good (a Tuesday nite about 7:30) with immediate seating and very friendly and attentive staff, althought the food took longer than I expected ... read more
