My family was camping at Mackinaw KOA for a week, It was recommended we go to Darrows! We had excellent food, service. It seemed good to get a waitress that was efficient , friendly and knew the menu! Very good follow up service! The Resturant was very clean, Windows, bathrooms ect! I owned a Family Rest for 25 hrs and my twin sister who was vacationing with us has been a chef in the yachting industry! We always check the menus out ! The food was good; however I'm disgusted with the service we received the other day. Our server was slow and way more concerned with taking care of the table next to us. Our drinks were never refilled, I watched our server refill the drinks at the table next to us and not once turn around to check on ours. She would disappear for long stretches of time, I asked for an Apple Juice for my daughter and she ignored me, making me ask again. Great food and great service! Would come back again anytime I could
We stopped here on our way to Sault Ste. Marie, MI as our neighbor's gave it very high reviews. We were not disappointed. We all enjoyed our meals. On our way back home, we stopped and ate here again. The perch was excellent. Also potato soup and pies.
It's a destination stop. We stop every time we come up.

We cannot say enough about this restaurant!! Everything is homemade and delicious!! The staff is friendly, the restaurant is spotless. This place is worthy of Triple D!
Great food and awesome staff! You feel welcomed the minute you walk through the door. You don't get rushed to eat. Highly Recommended!
Place used to be great. Now my daughter gets no dinner since she doesn't like anything except for the kids menu item and she is six months "too old" to order from that menu. Seriously? The waitress was rude the entire time also.
