Pricey, but it's a tourist town. Not unexpected. Went as a child on vacation, had to take my husband when we visited the Island. Hubby had the tomato soup. He said it was the best tomato soup he has ever had... even better than at the Grand Hotel! Fries and dinner salad was awesome, lake perch was great.
Just had breakfast here, service was top notch & food was yummy!!!! Blueberry syrup is amazing!! I was a little taken back when our plates came out because the portions "looked" small...but it actually was perfect amount of food. We all walked out satisfied but not overly stuffed. Our waitress was one of the best we have encountered during our whole vacation.
Pleasant service..great food! On the list of places to eat on our next northern family adventure!!
I have enjoy this restaurant with my family for at least 30 years and highly recommend this establishment to everyone visiting Mackinac area.
Excellent food and the waitresses are so friendly!
The wait is Real, I suggest getting there before 4p.m. but our server was nice, I ordered the shrimp basket and my sister ordered the Meatloaf open- faced sandwich, it was excellent ! As far as the price of the food most places average around 14.99 a plate anyway so we were prepared to pay.
The food was great but our server was the best!! Highly recommend this place for getting a bite to eat.
Had dinner there today with my boyfriend. Had no idea what to expect. The food was most delicious and the staff exceptionally Pleasant and knowledgeable. We had the broiled parmigian whitefish and the fried whitefish. Was going to order the chicken dinner special but it was close to closing and they were out. It looked amazing from seeing other plates near us but we were not disappointed in any way with our fish dinners. Going back for breakfast, looking forward to trying the homemade corned beef hash.
