Friendly staff with great food. The pies and cheesecakes are out of this world�
Went here for the first time this past weekend and it will now be part of our annual trip to the straits. We ate breakfast, the food was wonderful, service was great and the bill was very reasonable.
The pie is amazing! The staff are all very friendly and it is always busy there. We stop every time we go to Mackinaw City.
Food is always homemade and delicious! Sharon is by far, the best, most accommodating waitress ever! My family has been coming here for years and she always remembers to put aside a slice of my brother's favorite pie when we come in. If something isn't right, she makes it right:) The pies are always delectable, but get there early before they run out.
They have a good menu and food, and don't forget to order pie. Or, just order pie. It's great!
Been going to Darrow's for years ... every time we go to the Mackinaw area... we have loved it .... bragged on the food to our family and friends!! However this year we went and the service was beyond horrible ... the waitress was horribly rude .... the food was good ... but the waitress was just plain grouchy. The best Cole slaw that I ever had! The walleye was superb! Beautiful homemade pies!!!
Hubby liked his Turkey dinner and I enjoyed my cream of potato soup. The side salad was a hand full of spring mix 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 small slices of cucumber. A little cheep for the price. We will be back gonna try breakfast.
Our first time to Darrow’s as the line is always a mile long for dinner... we had a delicious lunch! Started with big hearty bowl of ham and bean soup...enough for two! So very good! The Rueben sandwich was filled with corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss.. very yummy! Excellent fries too! My companion had a turkey melt that was stacked high with turkey and a beautiful tomato, lettuce and bacon combo! Good service by our waitress Chelsey and sorry to see they close for the season next weekend.
