I first met Dr. Elenburg at Integris Hospital, where he was called in to handle my badly infected diabetic foot wound. He ended up amputating two of my toes, but it could have been much worse. He did a beautiful job on the surgery, and I am grateful to him for how much of the foot he was able to save. I've seen him three or four times in his office for aftercare, and both he and his staff are always helpful and friendly. I'm very glad he was the podiatrist on call when I was put in the hospital. I couldn't have picked a bett... read more
If you don’t have extra time to waste, I would go somewhere else. I have had three appts. with Dr. Elenburg. He seems to be a very knowledgeable doctor. The last two appts. I had to wait an hour past my appt time to see him. I had an appt. today 4/23 and he was an hour late. I was leaving the treatment room when he was about to come in. No apology....he looked at me and said “your next”. I told him I thought it was disrespectful to make someone wait an hour after their appt time. I also told him my time was just as valuable ... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Elenburg for over a year for a partial Achilles tendon tear. I have been extremely satisfied with the care I have rec'd. He is extremely knowledgeable in my treatment and rehab. I am an avid runner and have not been able to partake in my love of running but there is hope I will run again. After a long period of time, I am healing nicely and couldn't be happier at my results. The biggest huddle came after completing a series of EPAT therapy and now, I am being weaned from my boot. I am thrilled, to say ... read more
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback!
He was my second opinion. He actually explained what the issue was to me and why my feet hurt the way they do. I decided to go ahead with the surgery to fix my left foot. My incision looks amazing, he made sure I kept my pain under control and that my physical therapy was going great! I cannot wait to have my right foot done! He is someone I would recommend to anyone who wants someone they can actually trust with their feet!

Thanks for this excellent feedback. All reviews are important to us and we take it all seriously as it helps us continue to grow. Again – thank you!
Seemed distracted and aloof, didn't like his bedside manner at all. As a previous reviewer noted, seemed socially awkward and didn't like questions or my thoughts on why I was hurting. I had to volunteer my relevant history of an injury (where it was now hurting and the reason for my visit) and he didn't seem very interested in what I had to say. Had to wait right after their lunch for 30 mins. His staff was great though. I'll find another podiatrist in the future.
Socially awkward..Didn't remember details about me or my condition visit to visit. Treatment wasn't effective and I didn't return. Didn't like questions ...seemed uncomfortable with social skills. I would not recommend.
Very thorough, much more than what you'd expect (and what I've experienced) at a podiatrist's office, even more thorough than my gp usually is.
Dr. Ellenberg and his staff took amazing care of my daughter's needs. I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend!!
I have been to this practice many times, but this time was the last straw!! I waited over an hour just to spend about 3 minutes with him. If his staff could treat me I would never leave. Dr Ellenburg's bed side manner is the worst. He is very condescending and rude.
