Don't be fooled by profile pics, this doc is ancient. Went in for water burn on foot, didn't clean burn, used same bandage I came in with from home and scheduled me a burn unit visit TWO weeks out. Wound needed immediate attention... ended up with partial foot amputation!
Dr. Lewis is a fantastic doctor. My son is very complicated, he is concerned about him getting what he needs to be healthy. I have asked for and gotten emergency labs done, I trust that he will help us when we need it the most. He is articulate, reasonable, and kind. I love his office staff. This Dr. Is a win for our family and I highly recommend them!
Clear communicator, thorough, knowledgeable. Is willing to refer me to a specialist if need be. Will continue to use him.
Dr. Lewis ordered lab test with out my approval. After weeks working with the staff, I was informed I was left a VM by one of the staff members informing me of the additional lad test. This was not the case. I am disappointed in Dr. Lewis and the staff at this Providence provider. As I am stuck with Providence for the time being, I will be finding a new primary care physician.
I love Dr. Lewis. He has been my primary care physician for 3 years. He is always very encouraging and excited when he hears positive things happening in my life. I love Dr. Lewis so much so that I live 2 hours south of Portland and he is STILL my PCP.
One of the best Doctors I have ever been to . He is very kind and understanding . He listens to his patients. He insists on wellness checks and found out I had a thyroid issue . He's the best and his staff is amazing as well .
Dr. Lewis gets me. He spends a lot of time listening to my issues so he can render holistic advice. He doesn't just try and treat the acute issues; he looks for the root causes and works to fix those. I never feel rushed in his office visits the way I have with other doctors. When he gives me advice or prescribes a therapy or medication, I trust him completely.
Darren Lewis was very unprofessional and inappropriate in a creepy way my first visit, because pain meds was a part of my treatment plan prior to meeting him, he treated me like a drugged junkie that crawled out from under a rock trying to get pain meds. Complete and very disrespectful in every conceivable way, he spent the whole time ~ 3 1/5 minutes in our first visit talking about himself, it was obvious he did not review any of my history medical records. He was a horrible person to me!!
This doctor is mostly concerned about what he has to think and say. Symptoms were dismissed. Recurring problems were ignored despite my obvious concern. What kind of doctor ramps down treatment in the face of a persistent infection?! I saw him four times for that problem. He also didn't seem to give a damn that a 23 year old patient has low T along with many problems associated with it. He said "go for a run" and "eat better", like I never tried it before. Left every time feeling bad.
