I've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Lewis for over 10 years now. He is excellent!

Very cooperative never hesitates togive referrals when requested
Dr Lewis does a great job of making recommendations for my care and respecting my preferences.
Darren's been my PCP for as long as I can recall. He and his staff have been absolutely ineffectual over the past few years. Difficult to schedule an appointment. Zero hands on exams. Won't take the time to coordinate care.
Dr. Lewis has been my PCP for about 10 years and I really like him and his staff. He has correctly diagnosed a couple of somewhat mysterious maladies I have had and I find him direct and personable. He tells me what I need to hear re weight gain, alcohol consumption, exercise and water intake. His explanations make sense and he is very logical and data driven.
Avoid. Dr Lewis was my primary for a number of years. If you need nothing then he is fine. An arrogant style but since your interactions will be minimal its ok. Simple things he may respond to but most likely will pawn off to avoid any work on his part. Where things break down significantly is if you actually need care. Dr Lewis does not take ownership of anything and does no coordination with specialists or follow up of any kind. Avoid. Dr. Lewis is a wonderful person, but is ineffective as primary care physician. His staff is passive aggressive and unhelpful boarding on rude. As a provider, he is aloof and does not take the time to coordinate care as you would imagine a PCP normally would. Our extended family has been going to PMG Mercantile providers for over a decade, but now we are switching. I would avoid this clinic if you are seeking effective care and an engaged PCP. Providence isn't the same any more.
Dr Lewis is a good guy, but his staff is ineffective, unhelpful, lazy and passive aggressive. Seek care elsewhere. I am.
